Others confuse it with other November holidays without delving into the essence, which is understandable: for many years, people actively celebrated October Revolution Day on November 7th. Recently, the holiday was replaced by a new date – November 4th. This is a non-working day, which means official congratulations on National Unity Day for colleagues, management, and partners need to be thought out in advance. What is November 4th celebrated?

In fact, the first attempts to attract people's attention to this day were made a long time ago. At one time, Alexei Mikhailovich, who occupied the throne, considered it important to declare the date November 4 as the day of the Kazan Icon of the Mother of God and an official holiday of the state. At that time, the difficult victory at the beginning of the 17th century was associated with the patronage of the icon. A year after the official announcement of the holiday, a monument to militia heroes was erected in Nizhny Novgorod.
